How Account Registration Works Print E-mail
This section will help you understand how the account registration and activation works.

You can browse the online store without having to register for an account. However, to place an order you must register first. This is to ensure the security of our customers and online store facilities.

Whenever you register, access your account details or perform a transaction on our online store your information is encrypted and protected. You can make your purchase in the knowledge that your registration details and transactions are secured by SSL Encrypted Certificates using trusted authorities and industry strength 128/256 bit encryption.

To enable you to place an order, you must first register and create an account with a valid email address. You must have access to the email address provided as you will need to access an activation email that is sent to you.

When you click on the "Register" link on the front page of the Clock About web site, you will be taken to the new customer registration page.  All details marked with a red asterisk "*" are required in order to successfully complete the registration form. You must agree with the terms and conditions and tick the associated check box before you can proceed to send the registration.

When you send the registration form, the following message will be displayed to indicate that you have successfully completed registration.

At this point your account has been created but not yet activated. In order to activate your account, you must click or copy the activation link to your browser to run it. The activation link is sent to the email address provided in your registration. This is required to ensure that we can validate your registration against a valid email account and secure the web site against fraudulent activity. Usually within minutes of registration and depending on your internet access, you should receive an email similar to the example below. The registration email will contain your account login details as well as an activation link which must be selected before you can login. The login username will be your email address provided at registration and an automatically generated password which can be changed after logging in to your account.

If some reason you do not receive an activation email you can select to have it resent to you by going to the support menu and selecting Reactivate Account .


If you attempt to login without activating your account the following message will be displayed. Your account will continue to be blocked until you successfully activate your account using the activation link provided in the email.

Once you have activated your account, you will see the activation complete message on the web site at which point you can then login to your account.

Once logged in, you can change your password to something you can remember more easily by selecting the account menu on the web site. You will also have access to the Warranty Registration form to register your product purchases.
